"I found treasure on an island"

Walk to the windmill...

.....and the lads actually did wait for me to catch up!

Feeling safe on the ferry to the Isle of Wight...

......because he is sat with dad.

Not to worry....

When dad eventually caught up with him,

William had got to the car - found the doors shut,

and was making his way back to us.

We think he knew he shouldn't have done that!!

He waited for dad to come back from putting suitcases in the car

....but then William decided to run off.  Yes, indeed he did - and where to -   The Car!    If the cases were being packed then so was he, in his eyes.  Needless to say, dad was in hot pursuit!

Like he guessed we were going away....

.....he also guessed that we were packing up.  Must have been something to do with the suitcases being taken off to the car.

"Hey dad"!

...."I really need to check out that post over there...... if you know what I mean!"

An Open garden tour

He hurried us into this place....I think he knew they sold ice cream!

We've been to Ventnor....

..... I happened to say "Where's Ventnor?"
and, unbelievably, William looked round at the name
written on the hill.....but then
nothing should surprise us with this lad.

....but the anticipation of the game is still as exciting.

It just so happens that he's found the best stick in the world. Who'd have thought.

Exploring is all part of a holiday

He couldn't make out the building that looked like a ship though.

 Not the first thing you would expect to see on a beach, let alone

whilst on holiday.....

William cannot believe his eyes!

but he knew a discreet retreat was called for....

Perhaps the swan was on holiday too!

Impressed with his holiday accommodation....

...although we think he was expecting a Hotel

he did look cute when he sat up and looked
out of the window though...

On the high seas

He loves an adventure.

This time it was on the ferry to the Isle of Wight,

but he still needed a reassuring cuddle with dad!

Another sea wall

....he can't wait to start his holiday.

We told him to look for the ferry that would take us to the Isle of Wight,
and, of course, he looked for it!

(this time we wouldn't let him stand on the wall...

much to his disgust)

What's going on.

All is well, until we get the suitcases out.
