I wonder what he is dreaming about, especially as the legs were running just now.

....getting to the picnic first perhaps?

After all the waiting and then the running around...

a lurcher needs to catch up on the Zzzzzz

All was quiet in the house...

...which let's face it could mean trouble. But when I found William, he was quietly snoozing all on his ownsome.....bless him, little billy no mates.

...this is usually the scene after a long walk on the beach....seems a pity to wake them for dinner

I didn't have my sketchbook to hand, 

only a scrap of envelope,

 but just had to sketch him snoozing. 

He looked so content.

he knew I was watching him but he wouldn't look at me!

...but equally happy to share the larger sofa....
