He REALLY DID NOT want to get out of the car

...and we didn't argue!

~ and yet again I'm relegated to the back ~

Okay, so you would think this is easy....

....after all he is a big dog getting into my little car.  So it came as some surprise to him when he slipped backwards on his first attempt and I actually had to Lift Him into the car!

"Who are you kiddin' William, for goodness sakes 

what am I a chauffeur or something"!

Determined not to get out the car....

In his opinion, he had his walk earlier

and that's it...

no he would not budge out of the car until we got home!

Now he's a seasoned traveller....

...and we are just the chauffeurs.

You would never believe I'm waiting in the car with him

I get ignored totally when he's watching for dad!

He always seems to know ......

...when dad is about to arrive home in the car.

..so there we were having had our walk. Back to the car and I made the mistake of opening the front passenger door...

and yes, you guessed it - I get to sit in the back!!!!

Pizza crusts

our evening out enjoying the view and homemade pizzas in the car, of course, they had to be 'shared' William and Hamish got the crusts...

handed to them at the same time....to be fair!

Sometimes it's a race to the car...

although he walks quickly pretending not to hurry, but we know he has only one thing in mind...

to get IN the car first (even if he does need to be lifted up sometimes!!!) - such is life with a demanding lurcher!

We get this on a regular basis...

William can jump and leap after his toys, but can he jump up into the car!

he waits for dad to LIFT him in!

and, of course, dad does!!!!!

Then William chose a Great colour

for my new car

now to find one for dad!

William is an objective customer when it comes to car hunting...he knows what he likes:

and most of all

a great colour!

the trouble was...

he didn't like the sallow faced car salesman!

but then neither did we!

So off we all went to another forecourt .......

he's turning into a diva!

...in the boot of the car.  This happens whenever he thinks he is missing something!

William's insistence yesterday to sit in the drivers seat is a determination only a lurcher can show........and making sure he Stays in the Driver's Seat....
