Sketching William sketches of a scruffy hound - and sometimes I add a little orange terror called Hamish

The sketches....... often a quick pen outline ~ sometimes a photo and work from that.

I draw what he gets up to, no matter how the finished drawing looks. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

That expression...

that says   'dad has gone out without me'...

I just had to give him a hug
and explain that dad
wouldn't be long

  3. Aw, I know that expression. When Chocolatte' can't go with her dad, she does the same thing and stays that way till he gets home. She is so angry for not being able to go that she turns her back on him. Can you believe that? She does.:) Great drawing. Give William a hug.

  5. William is saying..How dare he go without me. When either of us leave the house alone without Annie, she pouts and wont play just keeps watch on the door, but when we get back she grabs a squeaky toy and brings for us as an offering. She never holds a grudge. Last time she was like a spring jumping up and down behind the fence when I came home. They are all so funny about their 'pack' being split up. Good drawing Ann.

  6. Absolutely BRILLIANT sketch, Ann! This reminds me of the ancestor portraits hanging in the great estates in your country. You should have it enlarged and framed and hang it in your ‘great estate’!
