About Sketching William.......

About these sketches....I have various techniques for capturing William. Apart from quick pen outlines to remind me of his pose, I will take a photo and work from that. When he stands still long enough, I'll do a complete sketch en plein air ~ All the drawings are things he has done and been up to, good or naughty, all forming a permanent reminder of those little things in life that makes having him so worthwhile. I admit not all the drawings are complete or perfect in any way, but when I originally set out to capture him, I decided they would be fun and to get too hung up on perfection would take away that fun. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

  1. Reminds me of one Christmas and the turkey had not long come out of the oven. Daughter's lurcher Eric jumped up and had it away with a wing before we had chance to say "no".
Hope William enjoys his Sunday dinner :-)

  4. Yeah right.. I think the thought already is there. :) We have a cat that gets up on counters and we never even have to worry about something sitting out nor do we worry about Annie. I am totally amazed. Now when critter sitting our neighbors dog.. oh wow.. watch out. :) Nicely done Ann.

    1. It's funny how some will just leave things and others will help themselves. We had left over sausages from a BBQ a while back, and they managed to disappear when our backs were turned....ummm, now I wonder who had them!
