Aw, I know that expression. When Chocolatte' can't go with her dad, she does the same thing and stays that way till he gets home. She is so angry for not being able to go that she turns her back on him. Can you believe that? She does.:) Great drawing. Give William a hug.
William is saying..How dare he go without me. When either of us leave the house alone without Annie, she pouts and wont play just keeps watch on the door, but when we get back she grabs a squeaky toy and brings for us as an offering. She never holds a grudge. Last time she was like a spring jumping up and down behind the fence when I came home. They are all so funny about their 'pack' being split up. Good drawing Ann.
Absolutely BRILLIANT sketch, Ann! This reminds me of the ancestor portraits hanging in the great estates in your country. You should have it enlarged and framed and hang it in your ‘great estate’!
Oh poor William, that's such a sad face!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Dad won't be long.
Give him (((hugs))) from me and Annie!
It's amazing the expressions this lad can pull. I've given him the hugs, thanks :)
DeleteHow could daddy Willima? You look so sad. Cheer up he will be home soon. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I tried to tell him, but he still didn't believe me! lol

ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't believe they can sulk, but they do don't they, lol.
DeleteOh, and hugs have been administered :)
What a sweet, forlorn expression! Hug him from me too! And you've, of course, captured him perfectly. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary, he looked so sad and Dad missed it all as he had gone out! lol
DeleteHe is getting lots of hugs today thanks to you all :)
