I'm toying with the idea of some William sketches on Bookmarks, to eventually giveaway....these are prototypes :)
~He rushes down to the sea~
~Umm, pesky birds!~
What do you think!?

[The only thing I'll have to work out is how to protect/cover them].
They are charming. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Thanks Molly :)
DeleteBoth lovely but would vote for the second one with William's head swiveled so he would be looking out of the book if you see what I mean!
ReplyDeleteI get what you mean Em...good thinking :)
DeleteThey are really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'd be first in the queue if you did a blog giveaway :-)
Not that I know anything about them, but I thought a laminator to protect them.
You can buy inexpensive ones at Argos.
Hope you get some good suggestions!
They seem to be liked then :) I think this is a goer, you will be on the list for a giveaway Eileen. Good idea with the laminator, need to look at them...I guess they cut the shape you need....will explore this idea.
DeleteWe love you, William!
ReplyDeleteThese elongated artworks are fantastic!

Thanks Mary....looks like bookmarks are on the cards :)
DeleteLove them...but of course we love everything about William! Your sketches are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAww, Thanks Camille :)
DeleteOh yes.. do them. I love book marks like this. Someone I know makes these and uses a couple coats of a water based polycrylic protective finish over them. Minwax makes a good one I use with a brush... a spray would work too. I like how they look and feel. I use a satin finish.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cris, another great idea. I'll look this spray up. cheers :)
DeleteGood idea, these are wonderful. Dogs express such joy on the beach. Happy PPF
ReplyDeleteThanks Corrine, hopefully I'll be able to get these under way before long :)

DeleteBrilliant idea! I was going to suggest laminating, but I see I'm late to the party! ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks so much. Yes he is fun :)
Deletelove these!! they're so lovely and I agree with the laminating idea so the paint doesn't get accidentally wet!
