About Sketching William.......

About these sketches....I have various techniques for capturing William. Apart from quick pen outlines to remind me of his pose, I will take a photo and work from that. When he stands still long enough, I'll do a complete sketch en plein air ~ All the drawings are things he has done and been up to, good or naughty, all forming a permanent reminder of those little things in life that makes having him so worthwhile. I admit not all the drawings are complete or perfect in any way, but when I originally set out to capture him, I decided they would be fun and to get too hung up on perfection would take away that fun. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

What's left of teddy dog

William has discovered 'parts' of his toy...... the culprit is small and orange

  1. LOL it was small and orange and begins with H! Have a super Saturday.
    Best wishes Molly

  2. LOL!!! We've had the same 'discoveries' except our culprit is small and tan! :-)

  3. Oh oh William! Looks like you've nabbed the culprit. No need to call Miss Marple! :)

  4. William doesn't look too bothered to be honest,
but Hamish looks a bit sheepish :-)

Annie has a box full of of tatty, destuffed toys,
can't blame anyone else for the destruction!
I won't throw them out because she still plays with them.
One of her favourites is now called brain dead Ted :-)

    1. I feel the same about chucking them out. They seem to love them in that state as much as when they were whole :)

  5. Too funny he would still play with it. lol I remember a you tube video of three dogs and one on them did something naughty and when asked who did it, with the video running, two of the dogs turned immediately and looked at the one cowering in the corner.. Guess who did it? Cracks me up every time I think of it.
