Don't worry, he didn't send Hamish out there!

Poor little Hamish, he tried so hard to get the tennis ball

Now that was funny

He was waiting for the tennis ball

and it was behind him

...he knew we laughed about it too!

I think he would spend all day on the beach if he could.

That was a good run on the beach...

...now for the smelly dog aroma in the car.

The trouble is,

when we mention leaving the beach, he goes with the theory    "if I can't see you, it won't happen"

Ha...or so he thinks.

Sorted it...

No more trouble from that silly old rope.

Caught it - Ha, not a stick but the great rope trick

Spied it

...but spied what.

Waiting...

...for that final throw of the tennis ball, before it's time to leave the beach.

Rotten when we keep him waiting isn't it

Ready, Set

....and wait for dad to eventually throw the tennis ball.

William got his own back

One thing Hamish loves is fetching the tennis ball,

except yesterday William found a football,

but Hamish couldn't pick it up.

Not sure if he was cooling off in the puddle

....or had he decided the mention of going home

was not going to be an option.

Hours later....

...I'm sure he was still in a mood with us

because we made him leave the beach!

How often do we get this reaction...

....when told it's time to leave the beach!!!

and this was when we first told him about leaving the beach...... 

"Trying to ignore us are you lad"?

No friends on the beach ...

....where's Hamish when you need him!

I have no idea why the mention of going home is met with so much disbelief!
