Sketching William sketches of a scruffy hound

The sketches.......I have various techniques for sketching William. A quick pen outline ~ sometimes I will take a photo and work from that ~ or, when he stands still long enough, I'll do a completed drawing.

I draw what he gets up to, no matter what the finished drawing looks like. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

    1. Yes he was horrified, but it was totally necessary - well, that's what we told him! lol.

  2. zeke was the same way. he hated to be brushed.
when I switched to a human brush with plastic bristles I never had another problem!
it took a little longer but it apparently didn't pull or hurt as much so with that and the promise of a treat afterward... I WON! :)

    1. Your Zeke and William would have got on great, both disliking being brushed! We've tried other brushes, but the response is the same from Diva William, he reckons he is way beyond the indignity of being brushed! lol

  3. I wonder why? Sammy used to LOVE being brushed! Afterwards he'd strut around like a diva showing off his shiny blonde fur! LOL :)

    1. Aww, some dogs don't mind brushing at all, your Sammy really must have enjoyed it. Little Hamish doesn't mind being brushed either, he thinks it is all part of his pampering session that he's entitled to, lol :)
