i once knew a dog that played ball all by himself! if he couldn't get his family to toss it . . . HE tossed it! then he would kind of freeze perfectly still watching it. then he would go and POUNCE on it! and then he'd toss it again. it was hilarious to watch. probably why they didn't throw it for him. :)
Wow William has that down to a fine art. We have to have two tennis balls on the go Annie, drops one at our feet so we throw the other while we pick up the dropped one. She needs to look and learn from William methinks :)
