i have followed this beautiful blog with beloved william for a long time now. heaven only knows why i haven't commented before... because every time ... and i mean EVERY SINGLE TIME that i come here ... i am utterly delighted how with a few minimal artistic strokes... you have completely captured the spirit of the lad. it's simply amazing. your work is ... well. no words for it. it just makes me happy! i come here first thing every morning. it starts my day right. and if i don't comment each time from now on .... rest assured i am STILL LOVING every single post. you are unique. i have followed your other blogs too. perhaps i don't comment because i know i'll go on an on like this. and embarrass you! i've gone through your entire archives. such fun. and my favorites from william's blog are when he sits on dad's lap waiting for you to finish shopping! how adorable are the two of them. and william as a puppy.... OH. well. we know he's still a puppy. and always will be. hugs to you three in your beautiful land by the sea. i live in the land~locked state of oklahoma in the usa. so i doubly appreciate your home and your walks on the beach. xo
Hi Tammy, I am delighted that you have stopped by and given a comment. So nice to know that you look for these sketches and enjoy them so much. Yourself and others who just view this blog absolutely make my day, whether I get a comment or not, just knowing makes my drawings worth while. Thank you so much.......ann
Thanks Mary, I get to see these moments in person on a regular basis. No doubt this will often be a repeated scene in one form or another, all part of life with this lad William :-)
As always a daddy's boy William. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

DeleteYour sketch captures that love so well.
ReplyDeleteYou could have added to a lad who loves his dad.. and a dad who loves his lad!
