He wasn't sure about these creatures, but still wanted to look at them. Likewise they weren't sure about him either!!
Sketching William sketches of a scruffy hound - and sometimes I add a little orange terror called Hamish
The sketches....... often a quick pen outline ~ sometimes a photo and work from that.
I draw what he gets up to, no matter how the finished drawing looks. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

Yikes those horns!!! Have a serene Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
At least he had his dad with him! (that's William I mean, not the goats) lol.
DeleteGood rendition of this. I wasn't much help with Annie as it happened so fast, but then Carrots was just guarding her baby. :)
ReplyDeleteAww, poor Annie. Sheep can be pretty vicious when their young are about and have you ever seen them push another ewes lamb Away from them! wow, do they let that lamb know!!! Still, I don't suppose Annie held any hard feelings towards Carrots did she? I was just glad these Goats didn't have a go at William, what with those horns and all.
DeleteYes I did watch the three mamas head butting the other babies away while they were here. Quite hard too. Then they started doing it to each other over food with me in the middle.. yikes. No Annie had no hard feelings. She was just a little more aware from then on. Which was a good lesson to her.
DeleteI guess Annie learnt like the baby lambs learnt. Shame you got caught in the middle though Cris, ouch!!
DeleteWow! Those are some long horns on that goat! You were just being cautious, but curious, right William? :). But you're always safe with Mum and Dad!
ReplyDeleteHe was curious Mary, and a little doubtful too. I think for two pins he would have ran off, but braved it out, lol :)
DeleteSnip is a little too interested in goats, so I steer clear if I see them!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you Em, better safe than sorry :)
DeleteSo what did they decide about one another?
ReplyDelete...they came to an understanding - keep away from each other! lol
DeleteGood thing he was on a leash! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think he would have got that near if he hadn't been - this big brave dog of ours, lol :)
DeleteGreat painting! Impressive horns!
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy, yes they were impressive horns and oh SO BIG!
DeleteWilliam probably felt safe on his lead and Dad with him,
ReplyDeletebut i wouldn't trust a goat with horns like those!
Yes, he was brave with dad there, but I don't know who would have ran fastest if the goats had charged!!
