They are always listening. Annie can hear a whisper..:)) We were going to town this morning and I said to her..you have to stay home its to hot..so she got on the bed. Con said low as we were walking out the door..Its not that hot she can come..Wham bang she was out of the bedroom and out the outside door before you knew it. Those ears ARE Radar. :)
Oh, I had to laugh at that. William can be upstairs totally ignoring us but when husb. opens the front door, he's there in a second expecting/assuming he is going too. The other day we were down on the beach and husb. told him it would be one last throw of new toy, then home...so William KEPT HOLD of new toy, so there would be 'no last throw' and the game wouldn't finish!!!
Don't they just recognise so many words and sounds. Annie shoots downstairs if she hears me open the under the stairs door, that's where we keep coats, shoes and dog leads.
William, if you heard the word walkies, you should be off the chair and dancing around :)
I find it amazing when they do that, they must be listening ALL THE TIME! Every time we go out he Assumes he is going with us (of course, he is right he usually does) :)
WALKIES is so one of our favourite words. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
