So William isn't keen on his coat, he looks very smart. Excellent sketch Ann! Annie loves her coat and jumper. I've just taken her jumper off her as the weather is milder now and she wasn't happy, but she's had a good shake and fluffed herself up :-)
That's a great grumpy look you've captured. You've inspired me to get on and do a pen and wash drawing today, which took me all morning. That tells you something about my lack of ability to be free and quick! I'll be interested to see what you think when I put it on the blog later. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face sketch by sketch.
Glad you have been inspired to give some drawing a go Em. The more you do the sketching etc. the easier it becomes (well that's the theory anyway)! I would tell anyone to limit the time to a 10 minute session only, that way you focus on the Important details and leave out the unimportant...just a thought :) Looking forward to seeing your blog later :)
Oh My they can sure let us know how they are feeling by just a look can't they? lol Our Annie, and I see there is another Annie listed here, has never worn a coat. She has so much hair she pants most of the time. But the Whippet next door lives in them and seems quite comfortable in them, but then they have no hair to speak of. You do these so well. Quick sketches seem to be harder then detailed ones for me to do. Here's a silly tidbit that just struck me.... My middle name is Ann and my Dads middle name was William. :)
I know what you mean about whippet's and their lack of hair, can well see why they need to wear a coat. Am now thinking that perhaps your neighbours whippet could have some weights put in her coat to help slow her down! lol. What a coincidence with your name and your Dads - one of my dads names was William too!

Hi Eileen, glad you like the sketch. Annie sounds like a coat lover to me, some don't mind wearing them. This chap here really really dislikes his!!
DeleteWe agree William, coats are for wimps. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Lol...stop ganging up Molly :)

DeleteMaybe he just needs to see how handsome he is to appreciate his coat! You have caught his look of indignation perfectly!
ReplyDelete...I can just imagine him looking at himself in the mirror Robin! lol
DeleteWilliam-
