Sketching William sketches of a scruffy hound

The sketches.......I have various techniques for sketching William. A quick pen outline ~ sometimes I will take a photo and work from that ~ or, when he stands still long enough, I'll do a completed drawing.

I draw what he gets up to, no matter what the finished drawing looks like. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

  1. I sat in my chair for over an hour yesterday NEEDING to get up, if you know what I mean ;) because my sweet 19 year old Savannah girl kitty was Ni-NIGHT on the foot of the chair. Head upside down and snoring ni-night! I didn't want to disturb her. Yes, I am well trained! She finally woke up when her daddy came home and thankfully, I could put the chair down and go take care of business!

    1. I know exactly what you mean Sue. William sometimes sits by my chair, a recliner, so to move it really would disturb him...I can't do that can I, so there I stay. As you say, well trained, lol 😆

it would be a lot of work I suppose. but the hard part is already DONE!
drawing him is like breathing for you.

    1. You're not the first to mention a Book....trouble is I'm no writer. I have looked into it, sometime ago though, but it would cost so much to produce, unless a publisher did it, I'm afraid I will have to stick with drawing him here, lol. 🙂
