About Sketching William.......

About these sketches....I have various techniques for capturing William. Apart from quick pen outlines to remind me of his pose, I will take a photo and work from that. When he stands still long enough, I'll do a complete sketch en plein air ~ All the drawings are things he has done and been up to, good or naughty, all forming a permanent reminder of those little things in life that makes having him so worthwhile. I admit not all the drawings are complete or perfect in any way, but when I originally set out to capture him, I decided they would be fun and to get too hung up on perfection would take away that fun. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

Coat time...

' No good you pulling a face William - it's coat time of year you know '

but he just stood and refused to move....so we gave in, this time.

Oh, and he looked so pleased with himself for winning

  1. Ted would be exactly the same. Ma knitted him a nice green coat with 'TED' in red letters a couple of winters ago. He looks at us as if we've committed the worst fashion faux pas ever when we suggest he wears it. He'd rather get cold, wet and dirty and then come home and sit in front of the fire, as dogs should :-)

  5. Too funny! They are clever at getting their own ways aren't they? Of course Annie would roast in a coat of any kind. She likes being cold. We never did get her to use the dog bed we got her..she turned her nose up at it.... its now the Cat bed. used regularly by Daisy. lol At least someone is using it. :)

  7. What's that all about William? You'd look very smart with your coat and scarf on :-)
Annie loves her coat, she has a nice blue one with a hood, matches our blue coats too.
In fact she has a red jumper but she only wears that when it's freezing cold!
