About Sketching William.......

About these sketches....I have various techniques for capturing William. Apart from quick pen outlines to remind me of his pose, I will take a photo and work from that. When he stands still long enough, I'll do a complete sketch en plein air ~ All the drawings are things he has done and been up to, good or naughty, all forming a permanent reminder of those little things in life that makes having him so worthwhile. I admit not all the drawings are complete or perfect in any way, but when I originally set out to capture him, I decided they would be fun and to get too hung up on perfection would take away that fun. I hope you enjoy seeing them......ann

When the suitcase appeared for our recent trip...

he couldn't quite believe it....

so he stayed on suitcase patrol....

it was considered the enemy for some time, until he realised HIS suitcase was being packed as well!

  1. So with you there William. We don't like it when someone is packing. Means they go away. Big Sigh. Have a serene Sunday.
    Best wishes Molly

  4. Cute sketches. Reminds me of my dog when A child. We used to go on long rides to get to my Grandmothers house and when Mops saw the suitcases being packed she would go park herself out by the car door and not move. SHE WAS GOING OR ELSE. LOL Of course she was going. :)

  6. Oh thank heavens William! Buzzy McDuff and the Pip become quite uneasy when they see the dreaded suitcases come out of the closet. So very happy you're to be included in the trip!
